Kra-Sue is a very old myth legend of Thai people about woman spiritual possession that spread through their saliva. Before Kra-Sue die, they will force their daughter or grand-daughter to swallow her saliva to pass the spirit. Kra-Sue will hunt at night by removing their head from the body but keep the internal organs and fly around looking for food. Kra-Sue mainly eat dungs, animals organ and garbage.
This work piece is a conceptual photography that tell a story of Kra-Sue through a jewelry on woman’s neck that was inspired by internal organ of Kra-Sue made from metal to portrayed the detain moment. This photos were called Imprisonment.
For the lighting, we used red and green because the legend said that when Kra-Sue is passing by we will see the green light on the internal organs and the red symbolized blood and organs of Krasue.
